Some more pictures of the chair made from an ash tree that @levivanrhinestone cut down last summer in the garden of a house in the Italian alpes. The curved legs are made of a natural bended pieces of the tree.
Table frame I made of old floor beams in Italy. I hewed and shaped the parts with an axe . We burned the larch trestles to make it more weather proof and give it a more uniform finish, the big cherry beam had such a nice color so I left it like it was after hewing with the axe. In summer I’ll add a table top.
Last summer @levivanrhinestone and I build two roof trusses and the last 3 weeks we raised the whole roofstructure of an old collapsed hay barn in the Italian alpes Together with @josefiensch and her parents.
We used a self made tripod and a chainhoist to lift up the trusses and get the big roof beams on.
We celebrated the raising with a little sapling on the ridgebeam.
