Sometimes the smallest gestures carry the deepest meaning. 🕊️ At the end of a recent Worth It for Men session, one participant folded these origami cranes and gifted them to our coordinators. Moments like this remind us that healing-centered spaces matter. Through consistent conversations, accountability, respect, and showing up week after week, trust begins to grow. Worth It for Men is more than a trauma curriculum. It’s about modeling what healthy communication, connection, and relationships can look like, and creating space where men feel seen, heard, and valued. You may remember Missy and Mark Gibson from last year’s Act Challenge Kick-Off where they ran 27.6 miles on the Rocky Steps (in 12 hours and 56 minutes 🙌🏼). This year, Missy ran 13 miles to represent the average age of entry into the commercial sex trade/the average age of when victims are first exploited. 🏃🏼‍♀️ 13 miles = 169 laps on the Rocky Steps (up and down = 1 lap). Mark opted for a different style of raising awareness this year and BIKED 36 MILES from Spring Mountain to the Rocky Steps along the Perkiomen and Schuylkill bike trails. 🚴🏻 He then joined his daughter, Missy, and his son, Tim of @tenthousandflowersproject , for some laps on the steps. THANK YOU to the Gibson Family for conquering the Rocky Steps in support of the 2026 Act Challenge and Worthwhile’s survivor programs! 💪🏼

We’re honored to share glimpses into our safe house property— a property that so many generous donors, volunteers, and supporters have helped make possible. 🤍 The Well is a place where hope, healing, and restoration quietly unfolds every single day. Inside these walls are stories of rebuilding, laughter, hard conversations, quiet mornings, shared meals, counseling sessions, creative projects, milestones, and moments of finally feeling safe again. ➡️ The Well is Worthwhile’s long-term restorative safe house program for women who have experienced trafficking, exploitation, and trauma. Located on 82 peaceful acres in Bucks County, The Well is more than housing. It’s a trauma-informed home where survivors are surrounded by wraparound care, supportive community, counseling, life skills, wellness support, vocational opportunities, and the space to rest and begin rebuilding their lives. Every cozy corner exists to remind residents: you are safe here, you are cared for here, and your life holds value. We’re grateful to invite you into small pieces of this space while continuing to protect the privacy and dignity of the women who call it home.
