I’ve had some new followers here lately, so I figured it was a good time to properly introduce myself 😁 Hiii! I’m Jessie! I know I rarely show my face on socials, but I’m definitely more of a behind-the-scenes kind of gal 🤓 Most days in my studio it’s messy hair, a messy studio, silver dust everywhere, and me wondering where I just set my tweezers (seriously can’t work without them!). I started this silversmithing adventure because I wanted to make cool stuff I’d want to wear myself. I’ve always been obsessed with Native American jewelry. Even though I’m a Florida native, I’ve always been drawn to the desert, mountains, and all the western landscapes that feel the complete opposite of home. Any trip out west, I could spend hours looking at local artists’ work, admiring everything, and mentally spending money I didn’t have 😅. I also love vintage and antique shops, finding random cool stuff, old school games and arcades (Nintendo NES 4ever 😝👾), and beer. Truly, I love beer 😁 I hope the things I love visually come through in my work and that people enjoy wearing it. I still pinch myself when I think that people are wearing stuff I’ve made! I’m really thankful y’all are here following along!
