enter the alchemical chambers… beyond the sound, the exhibition unfolds across two planes: (𝒶𝓁𝒸𝒽ℯ𝓂𝓎 ℴ𝒻 𝓉𝒽ℯ 𝓈ℴ𝓊𝓁 and 𝒶𝓁𝒸𝒽ℯ𝓂𝓎 ℴ𝒻 𝓉𝒽ℯ 𝒸ℴ𝓈𝓂ℴ𝓈) inner and outer, material and immaterial, body and system. film, installation, sculpture, painting, print, glass, projection each work a vessel, holding a process of transformation. in alchemy, the material and the spiritual are never separate. they fold into one another: matter becoming image, image becoming signal, (ˢⁱᵍⁿᵃˡ ᵇᵉᶜᵒᵐⁱⁿᵍ ᶠᵉᵉˡⁱⁿᵍ) here, that movement becomes spatial. as you pass through the exhibition, your senses align.
