Our local neighborhood school is 80% low income and 95% Hispanic. We kicked off our first food table last week, and now we need help keeping the supplies flowing. Donations to the MozartPTO will help keep these families fed through a tough season. Or stop by with extra pantry items, we’ll make sure they get to those who need it most!
Doogie passed away at home tonight, surrounded by his family and a very kind vet after a bad case of old age. During his 18 years on earth, I feel confident saying Doogie had an impact on everyone he met. He was fierce in everything he did - fiercely affectionate, fiercely loyal, fiercely territorial. If you were in his circle, he couldn’t get enough of you. If you were out… well, watch your shins. He loved vanilla ice cream, climbing to the highest points in the house and sneaking rotisserie chicken off the kitchen island. He was not fond of young children, but his love for them grew as they did. He always knew when I felt down and would snuggle me until my eyes itched. He was a very good buddy and I’m grateful we got to spend a large part of his life together 💕
