“How much does does it cost for you to build this website for me?”
This is probably THE most commonly asked question when I get an email inquiry or a DM. As small business owners, we’re constantly aware of what money we have coming in and out of our businesses. We want to know where our hard earned money is going and what it’s doing for us!
When it comes to the investment of having a website made for you, there are a few really important factors we need to chat about before I can give you a quote:
➊ How involved are you going to be in the development of your website or online store?
Maybe you want it entirely Done-For-You where you tell me all about your *dream* website and I put together a plan, develop the design, and then train you on how to use and maintain it.
Perhaps you want to have me take your ideas and create a framework for you. Then we bring all the elements together in a Done-With-You website.
You might even be interested in seeing quotes for both because you might be interested in helping, but if the estimate for the Done-For-You is in your budget, you might choose it!
➋ How quickly do you need the website developed and ready to launch?
Do you have all your branding elements? Do you have all your photography completed? Do you have website copy or do you need assistance writing out all of the amazing things you want to share about your business?
All of these pieces + knowing what type of service you want (Done-For-You or Done-With-You) + my current client roster all determine just how quickly your website can be completed.

It’s been a busy year for Creating Magic Online!
I’ve had the pleasure of doing some amazing things this year:
✅ Pay an employee a wage for a full year
✅ Support many entrepreneurs with over 25% of my income for the year
✅ Develop more than 20 websites for brands and small businesses
✅ Gave back to the small shop community via mutual aid and the first CMO Grant (coming back in 2023)
Every year I’ve continued to work within this community just fuels my love and passion for entrepreneurship even more.
