In partnership with Shimoda Design Group and Tishman Speyer, Workspace11 engineered and installed metal panel cladding across the 40-foot lobby, roof terrace, and entry portals at the Morgan North complex, bringing cohesion and scale to this landmark redevelopment.
2023
Workspace11 restored the landmark cast-iron door created by William Tarr in the 1960s at 102 Greene St in SoHo.
The project integrated a new structural system while preserving the artist’s welded patterns, alongside the fabrication of an interior wall panel made from original cast-iron panels that were saved during the restoration.

JP Coyle is a partner at Workspace11, a Brooklyn-based architectural metal and sculpture fabrication studio that works with artists, architects, and cultural institutions to realize complex, large-scale works. Working closely with artist Norman Mooney, he helps lead the development and production of projects that merge contemporary sculpture with architectural fabrication.

Custom Architectural Metalwork for a private dining club at 432 Park Avenue
We fabricated, finished, and installed over 50,000 linear feet of custom, handmade metal chain specifically for this project.
Each chain curtain and frame was individually crafted, forming a continuous architectural element that balances precision, weight, and movement.
The cabinet components were built from 16-gauge mirror-polished stainless steel, hand-peened to achieve a refined surface that reflects both light and labor.
