candle and how such a small act can profoundly
influence one’s mood. Lighting a candle can mark a
crossing point — from chaos into calm, from day into
night, or from stress into peace. It becomes a symbolic
threshold between one state of being and another.

Familiar sounds, scents, and rituals weave through the work, overlapping and layering like the days themselves. Each piece shapes a larger sense of home, built less by walls or roofs and more by the traditions that ground us and bring peace. This work cools with calm, the other radiates warmth—two temperatures reflecting the shifting tones of the season and returning to what makes us feel whole.
