This is 11. My husband and I are celebrating 11 years of "mawage" together. He made steak, aspargus, garlic bread, rice and scalloped potatoes while I took a nap because I had 2 events earlier today. My envelope to him says, "Back off Beast. I warning you" His envelope to me says, "As you wish" Before marriage I wasn't sure if I wanted children, and 13 months later we welcomed our 1st daughter which shifted my career from the Workforce Readiness Trainer/Career Coach/HR Consultant path to Perinatal Educator/Workplace Doula/Paid Leave Strategist. Anyways I gotta eat now. Can you name 1, 2 or 3 of the movie quotes? < ( ^ _ ^ ) > Follow @workplacedoula for more insights on preparing for working parenthood, caring for newborns, and personal experiences as a mompreneur, solopreneur, and an activist passionate about bringing awareness for equity, inclusion & belonging! Today, I’m reading for the children and families in immigration detention who need to know we haven’t forgotten them as a part of the #ReadThemHome Campaign to end family separations and children being kidnapped put in horrific detention center conditions, deported or who knows where. This was started by @staceyabrams , collaboration with @domesticworkers @10stepscampaign @MsRachelForLittles I encourage other people to join in and make your own video until Dilley Detention Center, actually all immigration centers are closed and the children are safely reunited with their families, because public pressure works if we can meet the 3.5% rule! Though, please make sure it's okay with the publisher if it is not a self-published book. Another way to help: Engage with Read Them Home online by lifting up content from creators who will be posting Additional information can be found at < ( ^ _ ^ ) > Follow @workplacedoula for more insights on preparing for working parenthood, caring for newborns, and personal experiences as a mompreneur, solopreneur, and an activist passionate about bringing awareness for equity, inclusion & belonging! Slow down! Did you know that seeing a slug on your car windshield is generally considered a positive spiritual sign rather than bad luck? I learned this morning after I got in the car to see a slug on the windshield and choose to look it up. We are running late to Mother's day Sunday Service and the slug shows us many interpretations that view slugs as omens that encourage one to slow down, practice patience, and trust that you are moving at the right pace, even if it feels slow. Have you ever found a slug on your windshield? #SlowDownSunday #SpiritualSunday #SundaySlug #PracticePatience #LifeLongLearner < ( ^ _ ^ ) > Follow @workplacedoula for more insights on preparing for working parenthood, caring for newborns, and personal experiences as a mompreneur, solopreneur, and an activist passionate about bringing awareness for equity, inclusion & belonging! (This post is original and typed by me, Rosa Park Neves, no AI was used however, I did a Google search for what it means to see a slug on the car.)

What is some recent feedback you received? Or gave? Thank you Lena for stating "of course!" my overnight doula client extended with me for daytime support as a doula/nanny because parents don't want a Temu version of Rosa, they want the real Rosa for their very precious child! Plus I'm not just a certified Postpartum Doula (which is sufficiently amazing enough for those who are) I'm also triple certified as @cappabirthworkers Childbirth Educator, Infant & Family Educator and New Parent Educator, trained as Lactation Educator and @cplleadership Certified RETAIN Parental Leave Coach with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration: Human Resource Management.... which all together leads to my title of "Workplace Doula & Paid Leave Strategist" Thank you @nailswithjacob for my South Korea inspired nails from @opi_professionals for AANHPI Heritage Month! Thank you @sapphiresush of @salonamrapali for expanding my clothing and jewelry! I forgot to mention the other necklace I'm wearing is from when I was manager of a Hawaiian Jewelry kiosk personalized with my initials and plumeria on the front, then the words "Hau'oli Hula" or Happy Dance in Hawaiian because again May is AANHPI Heritage Month! Thank you @i.miss.yul of @hoya.seoul for my modern jeoguri! Thank you @midwifesara of @byenvenibaby for my earrings #FeedBackFriday #RealRosa #PaidLeaveStrategist #WorkplaceDoula #AANHPIHeritageMonth

I’ve been waiting to share this….. I’m looking for 10 self-employed solopreneurs to work with closely who want a strategic guide to prepare them for taking more time off from work, potentially paid through state paid leave programs. So if you are 1. Growing your family: pregnant, adopting, fostering, or planning for pregnancy? 2. Have a serious medical illness or someone in your family does or one day y'all could 3. Escaping domestic violence, harassment, sexual assualt, stalker, etc. AKA needing "safe leave" 4. And most importantly you're 100% committed to occasionally taking time off from work Then this might be for you! or maybe someone you know?!? Comment with ”Prepare" and I’ll send you the next steps. #PaidLeave #StrategicLeave #ParentalLeave #MedicalLeave #SafeLeave BONUS if you live in 1 of the 14 states that have a state paid leave program. Not sure? Comment or Message me "Fourteen" < ( ^ _ ^ ) > Follow @workplacedoula for more insights on preparing for working parenthood, caring for newborns, and personal experiences as a mompreneur, solopreneur, and an activist passionate about bringing awareness for equity, inclusion & belonging! Even though I have a HR degree and over 20 years of professional experience, I know what it’s like to struggle with understanding workplace leave protections. I went live to share more because I'm too verbose in written word too. Basically I've been on 3 sides of the leave management process, this is why I started @rp7onlinellc to become a Workplace Doula & Paid Leave Strategist. I hold workshops at least once a month about Demystifying Leave Preparation, next one is on Tuesday April 28th at 11:30am in Tigard, but could open up virtual spots if there is enough interest, just comment HYBRID /e/paid-leave-for-the-self-employed-strategy-networking-lunch-tickets-1987951522518 Also, I'm opening up my calendar for 1:1 with 5 people to book "Perinatal Preparation Impact Session" just comment PREPARE to get the link. As I shared earlier this week, I’m in a 5-Day challenge to share my deeper truth about why I started my business and care abouy supporting micro-business employers who care about their employees and the self-employed solopreneurs too! If you (or anyone you know) struggles with workplace leave preparation LMK below if my service to you or someone you care about. #Day3of5 #BetterLateThanNever #PaidLeave #ProtectedLeave #WorkplaceLeave < ( ^ _ ^ ) > Follow @workplacedoula for more insights on preparing for working parenthood, caring for newborns, and personal experiences as a mompreneur, solopreneur, and an activist passionate about bringing awareness for equity, inclusion & belonging! The confession I've been dreading to share... Even though I am a great public speaker, I am not consistent about staying on top of my email which leads to delayed replies. Sometimes I start the email, then get distracted with working mom life before finishing & sending, so there could be 152 emails in one of my drafts folder. I am much better with text & live communication & Marco Polo app... anyone else have that? As I wind down with my current private doula client of almost 6 months and begin switching gears for speaking events coming up + hoping to schedule more. I've joined the Thrive Academy 5 day challenge to support me become more visible and hold me accountable in getting more consistent as I transition. I have an amazing Business Coach Strategist for on-going accountability, but thought I would check out this week long challenge. I've shared a bit about my story before; however, I will be going live tomorrow and in general more often to share more about who I am more importantly WHY I started my own business and most important WHO I support. For today, if you want to support me make a bigger impact, then could you please react and comment to help me reach more people? Thanks @nicoleseversonphotography for this photo! #DoneIsBetterThanPerfect #ActionLeadsToProgress #LearnFromYourMistakes #CommunityOverCompetition #CollaborateWithNotCompeteAgainst < ( ^ _ ^ ) > Follow @rp7onlinellc for more insights on preparing for working parenthood, caring for newborns, and personal experiences as a mompreneur, solopreneur, and an activist passionate about bringing awareness for equity, inclusion & belonging!
