🇬🇧 In the new @uniting__people , there is a room to recharge. The idea emerged during the Workplace Café we organized during the design phase: a meeting where some people, acting as voices for the rest of the team, shared what they wanted from the new offices. And among the requests, there was the creation of a decompression space to relax and spark creativity. That's how the Nap Room was born: a bubble to switch off and return to work with energy. 🇮🇹 Nei nuovi uffici di @uniting__people esiste una stanza per ricaricarsi. L'idea è emersa durante il Workplace Café che abbiamo organizzato nella fase di progettazione: un incontro in cui alcune persone, portavoce delle esigenze del resto del team, hanno raccontato cosa volevano dai nuovi uffici. E tra le richieste, c'era la creazione di uno spazio di decompressione in cui rilassarsi e stimolare la creatività. 🇮🇹 L’utilizzo dei colori non è solo una scelta estetica, ma una vera e propria scelta di progetto, capace di influenzare la percezione e l’utilizzo degli spazi. Negli uffici di UCB abbiamo utilizzato il giallo nell’area touchdown, enfatizzando il carattere dinamico di uno spazio pensato per attività brevi e informali. 🇬🇧 The use of color is not just an aesthetic choice, but a true design decision, capable of influencing the perception and use of spaces. Quest’anno abbiamo deciso di aderire alla MilanoDesignXmas, l’iniziativa promossa da @towant che trasforma la città in un palcoscenico creativo, reinterpretando il simbolo più iconico delle festività: l’albero di Natale. Così ci siamo messi al lavoro per ideare un Worki-albero. Il risultato è un’installazione dall’anima un po’ industrial, che decostruisce la forma tradizionale in elementi essenziali: struttura, luce, tessuto e volume. E se è vero che a Natale siamo tutti più buoni, abbiamo voluto dare il nostro contributo riciclando materiali già esistenti forniti da @lasmobili_ e offrendo loro una seconda vita. Grazie a @studio_fotografico_lops . 🇬🇧 This year, we decided to take part in MilanoDesignXmas, the initiative promoted by @towant that transforms the city into a creative stage, reinterpreting the most iconic symbol of the holidays: the Christmas tree. So we set to work to design a Worki-tree. The result is an installation with a slightly industrial soul, which deconstructs the traditional shape into its essential elements: structure, light, fabric, and volume. And since it’s true that we’re all a little kinder at Christmas, we wanted to do our part by recycling existing materials supplied by @lasmobili_ and giving them a second life.
