There is immense power in discovering yourself, art, material, and space through collective practice.
Any kind of practice in the new countries and cities we arrive to live in becomes a direct way of understanding a place — and understanding ourselves within it.
To practice together is also to learn how to belong, to observe, to listen, and to slowly build a relationship with unfamiliar ground.

I’m opening 2 art practices days 10 and 17 MAY — small group sessions this and next week in Tbilisi / online and offline: LANDSCAPE SESSION — not a workshop. Just a curatorial experiment
A shared space for artists to: — enter process without pressure of result — work through collective authorship — experience painting as a live situation, not an outcome
We will work together in real time, each from our own space, but inside one shared field.
Format: • meet up online, discuss, share, get into mood (Zoom)
• meet up in open landscape and stay all day • small group (5–8 participants) • English
Price: early bird 80 GEL
This is a one-time session + online meet.
I’m opening only 5 spots.
If you feel you need to move your practice right now — this is for you.
DM me “SESSION” to join.

Ok, it’s the thing I want to do since April 2025: emerging artists through all over the world drawing and painting on scaffoldings and buildings under constructions or just new buildings become open process fields for emerging practices and emerging artists. This scaffolding example is really great! Keep it here, one more time said thé wish.

My next note is dedicated to reflection, contemplation and sharing of sensations after we stoped. It’s interesting, in such a collective process story, without rules and restrictions, we simply couldn’t keep track of the processes and stops, and while participating simultaneously, the work was constantly changing. Consequently, at the end, when we simply stopped, it was something very unexpected. And yet, we couldn’t have foreseen it. And in the end, it was truly very strong to just sit and look at what happened when we just decided to stop. It was such a truly blissful reflection, a kind of cool state, I even wanted to prolong it. It was somehow pleasant, powerful. Very collective.

It was really valuable that the practice didn’t begin with any kind of prepared state; it began simply with entering the space. This was planned in advance. I really wanted to see how we would simply be together, preparing for something not entirely planed or known. From how we covered the walls with protective plastic, laid out the canvases, and somehow set up the space with surrounding objects. This is quite, in general, one of the most important parts of the artistic process—yes, the beginning, the preparation, the presence—that is, the sanctity of the studio, the space. And this collaboration, of course, is really cool.
