NEW RELEASE: Brooklyn producer Kyle Louis (@klmbk - pictured in front of his childhood home) returns to @workingrhythms with “See You / Be,” a pair of tracks that capture the artist’s most reflective and raw aesthetic. Created between 2019 and 2020 and mastered in 2022, these recordings have remained in the vaults until now. “See You” is a warm and melodic chillout cut driven by a breezy breakbeat and shimmering synths. “Be” is a slower tempo deep house tune with hazy chords, tweaked percussion, and a healthy dose of Balearic atmosphere. Out today on @workingrhythms : a new two-tracker from Brooklyn’s Kyle Louis (@klmbk ). Side A: “Never Be The Same” is built upon a powerful 4x4 beat and sub bass, with a yearning vocal hook from Ghanaian-Canadian artist Most Golden @mostgold.en (as heard on tracks by Malik Hendricks, Ursula 1000). Atmospheric synths inspired by Gigi Masin and a shimmering piano melody take this one to a soaring apex. Side B: “Saturday Morning” is a funky roller built to take your Friday night energy well the midnight hour. An irresistible bass line drives the track, with swirling pads, vocal microsamples, and an epic proggy synth line to seal the deal. Mastered by @dmamastering . Cover design by @bootlegvhstapes . On the flip is “Move” that features Kyle’s own shimmering, FX-laden piano hook over a classic jackin’ groove, a filter house-influenced roller that recalls sounds of the Crydamoure label. ‘Curry’s House’ is a 2-hour dance music program on @voices_radio that features exciting sounds and voices from the underground dance music community around the world. This month, New York City-based DJ/producer Kyle Louis (@klmbk ) is stepping in as guest host during the absence of the show’s namesake @d.d.curry . A veteran of the Brooklyn house scene, Kyle is bringing a special 2-hour mix featuring his signature energetic style. Keep an ear out for Kyle’s original productions, including unreleased DJ edits and several forthcoming tracks on Curry’s @workingrhythms label.

I’m excited to share my newest release with you today, available to stream and/or purchase on all digital platforms via my label @workingrhythms . ‘Take Me Away EP’ is my love letter to 90s garage house, featuring diva vocals, piano stabs, and timeless 909 drums. In addition to my two versions is a bass-heavy remix by my friend and collaborator @klmbk . Early support from the likes of I.JORDAN, Alinka, Kassian, Severino Panzetta (Horse Meat Disco), Haruka Salt, and Larry Tee. Making and sharing music has never been easy for me, so thanks to everyone for listening and sharing. 🙏🏼 I especially want to highlight my brilliant friend @lloydknight - “Take Me Away (D.D.’s Fuir Version)” began as the soundtrack for Lloyd’s incredible dance film “Fuir” commissioned by @worksandprocess . Lloyd’s vision and passion for club culture and music inspired this record and, more importantly, led to a treasured friendship as well. Lloyd was also kind enough to lend bits of the film to @bootlegvhstapes to create the cover stunning artwork and other graphics. 💿 Big shoutouts everyone else who touched this music: @pontchartrain_music on mastering, @n_o____________ at @dispersion_pr on promos, @epmmusic for distro and guidance, and @moskalus for the premiere of the “Fuir Version.” I hope you enjoy this release - more music from me coming soon!
