Thanks to everyone who popped by today!! I always feel vulnerable opening my studio cause it’s like a little portal into my brain and heart - representing @workingclasscreativesdatabase and having my little niece come paint, helped take the edge off that a little. Feeling lucky to be in such a gorgeous, evolving building with some lovely, talented and community forward, folk inside. 🕊️❤️

Right one more before I disappear again to get everything else finished. Picked up a ruined C.P. Company Re-Colour jacket from vinted, got the seller down to 45 from 75. The jacket was stained, ripped and the lens was scuffed so that’s been replaced. Was originally meant to be a Stone Island pair and based on the Barbour TS runner but I changed my mind half way through. Soles, suede and leather dyed, matte finisher applied to the leather. Thread from the jacked used to sew in the heel tabs, real leather stripes fitted and all stitching done by hand. 1/1 pair and not for sale unfortunately. Adidas X C.P. Managed to get nearly everything that influences me into a pair of shoes. These are made to resemble the iconic bomber jacket and a few nods to the parka, both jackets were adopted by countless subcultures and usually paired with Dr Martens or adidas. Let's talk about it 🗣 Hey you thantastic thespians! 💚 By far and large, one of the biggest issues within our industry and the biggest hurdle for performers is the lack of opportunities given to actors who aren't well known 🎬 How many times have we watched a film or show and realised we didn't even know there were auditions being held for it? How many auditions are exclusive to only a set number of agents (with big names on their books) or actors who know the production team already? The answer to all of these is: too many 📋 For any actor to go from unknown to known, they need to at least have the opportunity to get their foot in the door, and for that to happen, somebody needs to take a chance with them 🍀 So to all the amazing casting directors, producers, directors, writers, and filmmakers out there, please give us a chance to make you proud and to put some more faces on screen and stage. Less exclusive castings, more open auditions, more networking events etc all of these help actors, especially those from less privileged communities, get a chance to stand in the spotlight ✨️ My fellow actors, what changes do you want to see in our industry? Listen, its not by choice 😅 Please, more open auditions and less exclusivity 📣Give unknown actors a chance. The ones who couldn't get into drama school, the ones whose agents don't have all the big names, even the ones who are struggling to find representation.
