For those of you who have attempted to make a 13 foot volcano with a smoke effect know that it can be a challenging task. Traditional smoke machines could set off commercial fire alarms, so we had to use water vapor for the smoke effect.
We made the entire system from scratch and user-friendly while still being able to separate the volcano into four separate sections for crating and shipment.

We sculpted the form from reference photos of an artists clay model of an Icelandic volcano.
Along with inventing closed systems for LED lights to mimic MAGMA and utilizing water atomizers to create “smoke” for the complete live volcano feel.
And sometimes you need to climb inside a styrofoam cave to do stuff.
Said result of 92 layer lamination. A 13’ ‘lightweight’ sculpture that can be disassembled into four pieces for international shipment with integrated lights and ‘smoke’ to resemble an artists interpretation of an active Icelandic volcano.
