We worked alongside @extendedwhanau to create rendered imagery for Te Awhi, honouring the important healing work they do every day. Te Awhi is a Māori mental health and addiction support provider working with whānau across Waikato and Te Tai Tokerau. The goal was to create something that could stand alongside the organisation and reflect the depth and integrity of their work. A symbolic visual built around a pou and a woven cloak, representing strength, support, and the layers of care that wrap around us. Central to Te Awhi’s philosophy is the pā harakeke metaphor: the flax grove, and its layers of nurturing relationships. At the centre stands a pou - standing tall as a symbol of humanity, linking past, present, and future generations. Around it flows a cloak inspired by pā harakeke, representing protection, healing, and the dynamic paths we walk through life.

A closer look at one of our collaborations for @bypariah launched at the end of 2025. In partnership with @workgroup.studio we designed and built a custom ring stack builder that allows customers to pick and mix pieces to create By Pariah’s iconic three ring stacks. The visualisation experience mirrors the brand’s tactility, precision, and quiet confidence, while embodying its sophistication and elegance. A considered digital tool for a timeless jewellery house.

WorkGroup created a suite of emotive and e-commerce render imagery showcasing Abel’s beautifully designed new glass vessel. Last Friday, we were honoured to take home five pins at the @bestdesignawards . We received two Golds in Design Craft: CGI for our work with @davidtrubridge and @nzmaci , created alongside @guardians_ahiauaha ; a Silver in Design Craft: CGI for Te Awhi with @extendedwhanau ; a Silver in 3D Animation for @goodnature_traps ; and a Silver in E-commerce Websites for David Trubridge with @generalstudios and the @davidtrubridge team. We’re feeling incredibly grateful to all the collaborators and clients who make work like this possible, and to the @bestdesignawards and @designersnz teams for another brilliant night celebrating Aotearoa design. A special mention to @milknz , we were stoked to collaborate on this year’s Best Awards campaign 🟣

We’re proud to share our recent collaboration with @guardians_ahiauaha for @nzmaci . Using photogrammetry, we captured over 150 images of the original Pōito bone carving to construct a millimetre-accurate 3D mesh, ensuring the integrity of the taonga was honoured throughout the process. This precise digital model enabled us to visualise the carving in bronze, silver, gold, and pounamu finishes with hyper-real detail. In addition to stills and animations, we created a dynamic interpretation of the Pōito through simulations inspired by geothermal steam - a visual metaphor for wairua in motion. It has been a privilege to contribute to this project, now recognised as a finalist in the 2025 Best Awards.
