Flutter Across Time
In Flutter Across Time, fabric carries memory across generations. Butterflies cut from antique Hanbok silk, once stored quietly in a family wardrobe, drift alongside contemporary Korean silk across a surface of Hanji paper.
The work moves gently between preservation and transformation. Fragile white forms appear almost ghostlike, holding traces of labour, care, and inheritance within their movement. What was once worn close to the body returns in another state, suspended between past and present.
Thread, paper, and silk come together as a soft architecture of remembrance. The installation does not monumentalise memory, but allows it to flutter lightly through space, where intimacy survives through small acts of keeping and passing on.

It has been quite a journey to get my work all the way to the UK for the first time. The whole process was such an experience for me.

The Eggcellent SculpTOON exhibition at the South Piedmont Art Gallery at SPCC has come to an end.
For the past two months, I was so happy to share my 100 egg stories with the SPCC students and the community. I am truly grateful for both the exhibition and the artist talk opportunities.
