The Worcester Fire Department regrets to announce the active-duty death of Captain Jason Couture. Capt. Couture started with the department in 1997 and has carried a strong presence as a leader and a mentor over the years. Please keep Jay and his family in your thoughts and prayers.
A funeral service will be held for Captain Couture on Wednesday February 25, 2026 at 11:00AM at St. Johns Church, 44 Temple St, Worcester.
