This year I hope to finally finish a draft of my Red Shoes inspired musical shadow puppet show, whether or not I think it "worthy" or "good." I have been hanging on to it for years waiting for time and money but most likely waylaid by self-doubt. Anyone relate? These clips are a few years old from a prior draft. Vermont Crankie Fest Performer Spotlight
I think of Maria Pugnetti as one of the quiet powerhouses of Brattleboro's arts community. Her work has been integral to many fabulous productions with NEYT and Putney's Sandglass Theater, not to mention the crankies she made for Genna Rose Nethercott's 'Thistlefoot' show. Very excited to see this exquisite piece!
