New-In: Been trying to join this band since discovering them a few years back. At one point they even seemed open to it, but they are never in the practice space on the nights they tell me they rehearse and, well, the lock seems to have changed.

Formed back in #darkdays December 2020, Joe Denardo (Growing, Ornament) encouraged Dan Wise (Honey, Psychic Ills, Kill Me Tomorrow) to start woodshedding some songs Dan had been sitting on. After a few years & different personnel, Cool Whip’s sound coalesced & _Flame in My Heart_ has now arrived. Straight ahead rock for our cracked times.
Let the avant-garde and improv folks dither about aesthetics and extended technique. We live in a city where our mayor’s crew hands wads of cash to reporters in #potatochip bags. This is rock music the way it should be delivered, zero pretension.
