I didn’t realise how dysregulated my body actually was… until I felt what calm really feels like. It’s hard to explain unless you’ve experienced it but it’s like your whole nervous system just… exhales. With ADHD, my mind is always “on”. Even when I’m resting, I’m not really switching off. I’ve tried so many things to regulate, but this felt different. It’s not like anything I’ve used before you literally feel it through your whole body. Almost like your body is being brought back into itself. It reminded me a bit of PEMF mats I’ve tried before, but this feels more immediate… more immersive. I’ve been using it in the evenings to slow down, come back into my body, and actually feel grounded again.
