quick mini round-up because i’m trying to get better at posting my work!
six things I’ve been up to this fall:
1 - we opened (&closed) the @roblakemagic show on Broadway! my bway spot-calling debut amongst other firsts. like first time seeing myself on a video wall on Broadway lmao . thanks to @nicksolyom for having me<3
2 - hurricane diane for the 2nd Year MFA company @columbiamfaacting 📸: @lboydw
3 - king lear performed with PUPPETS . another collab with my favorites of all time @kubistec@irshai for @columbia.theatre 📸: @c.eunha__ and the biggest thanks to @gel_ap7050 for letting me demo some puppet-sized lights (S4 minis!)
4 - first time lighting for a pop-up event! “The Smashing Machine” 2000 Arcade in soho for @a24 associate to john froelich and working with the besties like @harrisonfreni@kaylwilliams_lighting@michael.richards_@straussssssss
5 - assisting @rza_behjat on Let’s Love! for @atlantictheater such a funny show, i’ll be thinking about those jokes for the rest of my life
6 - designed my first fashion show for @diegotorrescoop starring The Star of All Time @anniehagg with the help of @saailer . and the thing was PACKED ! thanks to ron vodicka at Christie for the goated package

end of year roundup for the craziest year of my life to date
spent the first 6 months of this year living in China working on the largest most insane show I will ever work on, came back, designed 10 productions, assisted/assoc. on 6, had my BROADWAY debut programming @blacktraxtracking on McNeal at Lincoln center, swung the occasional wrench, had my hands in a couple other things, and occasionally got a chance to breathe 🤩
thank you to everyone I had the pleasure of meeting and working with this year .
HUGE shoutout to the friends who helped me out, hung lights with me, built set electrics in my house with me, drafted a plot for me when I was swamped, etc etc u know who U R . I owe u a big dinner or a smooch or something.
