🏃Why Herdy’s is such an EPIC event
A huge shoutout to @wolvesrc , who recently took on the Herdys Ultra Marathon in support of Lifeline WA – raising an incredible $59,000+ and counting.
Thank you to every runner who showed up and put in the kilometres and training to support Lifeline WA. And to everyone who backed them – friends, loved ones and colleagues who donated – alongside @ultraserieswa and @clearhealthpsychology .
Taking on a challenge of this scale isn’t easy, and neither is the commitment behind it.
Your efforts help ensure Lifeline WA can continue to be there for Western Australians, 24/7. Thank you, Keith, and everyone at Wolves RC for this phenomenal result!
Wolves RC, this one’s for you 🐺
I dug deep into the camera roll and found almost all of you…
If you’re not here, I’ve got questions 👀😅

Heard of the Herdy’s Front Yard Ultra? 👀
Each year, WA’s toughest ultra runners take on the ultimate endurance test – running a 6.71km loop on the hour, every hour, for as long as they possibly can.
It’s brutal (and iconic) for a reason: it has a 99.8% DNF rate – because the moment you time out on a loop or can’t keep going… you’re done.
To put it in perspective: 24 hours = 100 miles (160km)
This year, @wolvesrc are stepping up in a huge way – with 30 runners taking on the challenge, aiming to collectively run 4,828km (that’s an average of 160.9km per person 😮💨).
In partnership with @ultraserieswa and supported by @clearhealthpsychology , they’re on a mission to raise $50,000 for @lifeline_wa .
And the meaning behind every mile matters:
3,000+ collective miles – each one representing a life lost to suicide every year in Australia.
Thank you Wolves RC for helping ensure Lifeline WA can continue to be there for West Australians in their toughest moments. 💙
Episode 104 is Out! 🎧
Chris, Simon & Vici are joined by Keith Mitchell from the Wolves Run Club to discuss their latest fundraising campaign for Lifeline WA, the infamous Herdy’s Backyard Ultra hosted by Ultra Series WA on Friday 13th March 2026.
In local results we had the Strive Program B that featured the 800 and 3000, the True Blue Ultra down in Australind and the WAMC Matilda Bay Run that wasn’t in Matilda Bay, or had the distances as advertised.
In Simon Says, we learn about how you could score yourself some free Yo Chi every Sunday.
James Payne, Matt Maguire, Kristy Wright and Jamie Reeves are this week’s weapons of WARP.

About Wolves RC x Herdys Front Yard Ultra:
Wolves RC are partnering with Ultra Series Australia at Herdy’s Front Yard Ultra to raise at least $50,000+ for Lifeline WA.
This year as a club we are embarking on our biggest challenge yet, 3000 miles (4,828km) for mental health during Herdy’s Backyard Ultra. Each mile represents a life lost to suicide in Australia each year, a statistic we are passionate about addressing.
Lifeline WA needs funds to ensure that West Australians don’t face their darkest times alone. Join us in helping Lifeline WA save lives.
