ARENA NIGHTS đđ¤đđ
In support of our partner venue Arena Theatre â and the incredible Poets, Prattlers and Pandemonialists, who also appear at Wolves Lit Fest â weâre excited to help spread the word about this event.
In partnership with Poets, Prattlers and Pandemonialists, the Arena Theatre is delighted to present ARENA NIGHTS â an initiative celebrating local artists, ideas, and emerging talent.

Â
For May, Arena Nights presents a 10-minute script-in-hand excerpt of Jade Sanchezâs supernatural dark comedy âFinal Actâ, alongside Rachel Sambrooksâ Phoenixingâ: the headliner for the evening!
Â
Adopting a âPay What You Feelâ philosophy - where audience members decide what they pay for the event with all money going to the headliner - Arena Nights brings together a vibrant mix of performance, experimentation, and new work, promising an informal and welcoming space to experience live performance in its most immediate and rawest form.

What a time we had at Wolverhampton Literature Festival @wolves.litfest last week! ⨠The brilliant @nicoleocran brought her book, 'The Half Of It' to life with powerful insights and stories.

Something slightly different today! Usually, weâre mapping the Beatlesâ history through landmarks, but yesterday, we explored the living history held by the people who were actually there.
As part of the team @humanities_wolves@wlvuni , weâve been exploring how place shapes memory. We used the Beatles as a case study to see how multi-sensory cues can unlock deep, emotive stories.
Our pilot event at @wolves.litfest was officially SOLD OUT, and the atmosphere was electric! Hearing first-hand accounts from people who were there when history was being made was an incredible privilege.
We wrapped it all up with a high-energy set from âBeatlemaniaâ. It was a joy to see the room filled with singing and dancingâa fitting tribute to the legacy we are studying!
A massive thank you to Beatlemania for their stellar performance, and for every attendee who shared their precious memoriesâyour stories are the core of this research.
Stay tuned to see where this research takes us next!đ
