ARENA NIGHTS 🌃🎤🎭🌠 In support of our partner venue Arena Theatre — and the incredible Poets, Prattlers and Pandemonialists, who also appear at Wolves Lit Fest — we’re excited to help spread the word about this event. In partnership with Poets, Prattlers and Pandemonialists, the Arena Theatre is delighted to present ARENA NIGHTS — an initiative celebrating local artists, ideas, and emerging talent.   📆 Tuesday 12th May 🕢 7.30pm 🎟 https://bit.ly/ANSpring2026   For May, Arena Nights presents a 10-minute script-in-hand excerpt of Jade Sanchez’s supernatural dark comedy ‘Final Act’, alongside Rachel Sambrooks’ Phoenixing’: the headliner for the evening!   Adopting a ‘Pay What You Feel’ philosophy - where audience members decide what they pay for the event with all money going to the headliner - Arena Nights brings together a vibrant mix of performance, experimentation, and new work, promising an informal and welcoming space to experience live performance in its most immediate and rawest form. #arenatheatrewolverhampton #wolverhamptonevents #arenanights #partnervenue

Something slightly different today! Usually, we’re mapping the Beatles’ history through landmarks, but yesterday, we explored the living history held by the people who were actually there. As part of the team @humanities_wolves @wlvuni , we’ve been exploring how place shapes memory. We used the Beatles as a case study to see how multi-sensory cues can unlock deep, emotive stories. Our pilot event at @wolves.litfest was officially SOLD OUT, and the atmosphere was electric! Hearing first-hand accounts from people who were there when history was being made was an incredible privilege. We wrapped it all up with a high-energy set from ‘Beatlemania’. It was a joy to see the room filled with singing and dancing—a fitting tribute to the legacy we are studying! A massive thank you to Beatlemania for their stellar performance, and for every attendee who shared their precious memories—your stories are the core of this research. Stay tuned to see where this research takes us next!🍏 #NowherePlans #Beatles #Memory #MemoriesoftheBeatles #Wolverhampton
