Dude, Germany was so much Fun.
I can’t even begin to explain the lifelong friends met this weekend, the banter, & the fooooooood, and the scenery experienced… man. It’s like big brother Wisconsin over here!
We are now on our way to France, where we will kick it in Lyon for a few hours, before heading into Spain.
If we don’t get back to you super promptly, know we are incredibly exhausted, carrying an entire fire show/camping gear on our backs, and a suitcase, through literally valleys and woods, well into alleys & scapes.
We have a long ride ahead, so we might sleep most of it. Will get back to y’all soon.

A baby Sturgeon stalked me while diving the wolf river back in Wisconsin.
After a while, I stood still, and it approached my hand.
It, sat there, while I pet its little ancient scales.
Held it with a gentle hug from my neoprene gloves.
& then, just like that, I let go, and it kindly swam away.
I was in my early 20’s, recent owner of my first GoPro after saving up for it to capture my dives.
I think about this moment a lot.
I was finally able to capture a thing that sometimes happens to me when diving:
Fish, and wildlife, showing curiosity, and a friendship-like behavior. Wanting to understand, to know who, or what you are… and once they can assess you mean no harm, they play, follow, and sometimes want to be held.
