After a colossal product failure by @deckorators we had to rip out all the decking and reframe the deck to account for a 1/4” slope every foot that is required for this @timbertech material to ensure drainage.
What a beautiful day for demo! We’re helping this 2 story deck with updated ledger and column support. Then we’ll be reframing the first floor for tongue and groove @deckorators decking.
This teardown and rebuild is finally done. Finished off the electrical and bead board ceiling yesterday. Once the weather warms up we’ll be able to caulk and apply the top coat of paint.
Was a COLD ONE! but I was able to get the downspout and the 2nd floor properly secured for the incoming storm. Just need a day to install the handrail and balusters and the bead board ceiling on the 1st floor and this will be done!
