Thank you to all who've made me feel loved and appreciated at the start of my 40th decade.
I am in celebration mode for a while as I cant quite believe I got here! And I ended my 30s in a pretty epic way - supporting a dear friend through his Shodan shikan (black belt grading) with one of my family's -Sakura Kan Japanese Jiu jitsu.
I would add one more thing here that I would say to my 17 year old self:
Learn the difference between what you are responsible for and what is someone else projecting their story and beliefs onto you.

The nuances of courage and bravery.
The more we do things that take courage, the braver we become.
The more we show up just as we are, without judgement, people pleasing, expectation - life can get really interesting, resilient and simplified. It often takes time and practise. But the results can be life changing. They have been for me.
Free movement, authentic movement, curious movement is one way we can practise being courageous and cultivating a brave spirit. A way to really get to know ourselves from the inside out, especially when things around us are falling apart.
My desire is to create spaces where people can feel safe to explore these concepts and my wish is for you to leave these experiences feeling more deeply connected to and accepting of your whole self.
And this can ripple out into other aspects of our lived experience and those around us.
