The Warrior Family Program is about more than events. It is about creating space for families to feel supported, connected, and understood through every step of their journey.
From celebration moments to simple time together, these experiences bring comfort, encouragement, and a sense of community when it is needed most.
If you want to be part of what we are building for our warrior families, we would love to have you involved.

It’s more than just toys. It’s a moment of joy during one of the hardest times a child can face.
Our Celebration Closet gives pediatric cancer patients the chance to choose something just for them… or for a sibling, a friend, or someone they love. Whether it’s to celebrate a milestone, lift their spirits, or simply bring a smile, these moments matter more than we can put into words.
Every item is made possible by generous donors who help us turn small choices into big joy.
💛 Want to be part of it? You can donate items or support the Closet at the link in our bio.

Behind every Buddy Bag is intention.
It’s one of the ways we thoughtfully show up for our warrior families—anticipating needs, easing transitions, and creating a sense of comfort during an otherwise overwhelming time.
This program reflects what we value most: showing up with care that feels thoughtful, personal, and truly supportive. Message us to find out more about the program and how YOU can be involved!

WOKC celebrated Warrior Moms this Sunday with a Mexican-themed Pajama Party featuring chair massages, baubles from The Charm Bar, goodie bags, refreshments, margaritas, and a scrumptious feast from Torchy’s Tacos. More than 25 moms came together to share their stories, triumphs, and challenges — as one mom put it, “a club I’d never want to join, but one whose members understand the journey.”
This annual event gives these courageous moms a chance to relax, be pampered, and connect with others walking the same path.

For this week’s Warrior Wednesday, we have Devin 🕷️💙❤️
Devin is strong, goofy, and fully convinced he’s Spiderman. And honestly, he might be right. At just 3 years old, he has shown a level of resilience that inspires everyone around him. Little does he know, he’s the strongest superhero any of us have ever seen.
His family shares how much it has meant to not feel alone on this journey, to be surrounded by a community that truly understands, and to be able to create memories together along the way.
We are so honored to stand beside Devin and his family and to share his story with all of you 💛

There’s a cost people don’t talk about.
Not the hospital bill.
The life bill.
Parents missing work.
Traveling for treatment.
Choosing between bills.
This is the part most families are not prepared for.
And it’s where support matters most.
You’re not just giving…
You’re helping a family breathe again.
Which one surprised you the most? #wokc
Forty-five years ago, a mother made a promise to fight for children with cancer. Last Saturday night, that promise was honored in the most extraordinary way.
At our 45th Anniversary Gala at The Ritz-Carlton, Dallas, our community raised $4 million – creating a total impact of $6 million for children battling cancer and the research that fights for them.
Two million dollars will co-fund pediatric cancer research grants alongside the V Foundation for Cancer Research, which will match that gift dollar for dollar. The remaining $2 million will keep our Buddy Bags, Warrior Family events, and international podcast running for the families who need them most – the programs parents call “medicine for the soul.”
To every donor, sponsor, and friend who has walked this road with us – thank you. Cancer does not define them. And because of you, they have every reason to hope.
The full press release is on our website. Head to the link in bio to read more.

For this week’s Warrior Wednesday, we have Mabel 💕
Mabel is a bright light with the sweetest spirit and so much strength. After being diagnosed with leukemia just after her third birthday, she has faced treatment with incredible courage and resilience. Through it all, she continues to bring joy to everyone around her, whether she is singing, dancing, or spending time with the people she loves.
Her family shares how much community and support have meant during this journey, reminding us that no one should have to face childhood cancer alone.
We are so honored to stand beside Mabel and her family and to share her story with all of you 💛
