We were just a mix at first-some of us runners, some of us not. Different backgrounds, different stories, but one thing tied us together: we’d all been touched by suicide in some way. Friends, family, our own battles.
It wasn’t something we could ignore anymore. So we decided to do something loud. Something real. We signed up for the Berlin Half Marathon 2025—not just to run, but to make noise for Suicide Prevention and Awareness.
Teaming up with @nikeberlin gave us the platform we needed. And together, we created the FUCK SulcldE Race Kit: bold, raw, unfiltered. Because that’s how suicide hits you: raw. We wanted to strip away the stigma, the silence, the shame. The kit was more than apparel. It was a statement.
Some of us had never run more than a few kilome-ters. Others were seasoned marathoners. But we trained together. We lifted each other up. We shared our stories of pain, survival, and the people we run for. Every mile was a protest. Every step, a tribute. On race day, Berlin saw us—not just as runners, but as warriors for something bigger.
We didn’t run for time. We ran for the ones who can’t.
We ran to say: We see you. We hear you. We need you.
We ran to say: FUCK SulcldE.
And we’re not done.

Pretty much a year ago, @wlfrdson and I took off on one of our greatest adventures together, spending two months in Norway and Sweden in our self-converted campervan, @lassunsfahren . 🚐 We didn’t know what to expect or if we’d like spending so much time together in such a small space. Apart from a few things on our bucket list, we had absolutely no clue. We didn’t even have proper rain jackets. (Trust us, you’ll need one up north.) 🚿💦🔫
What came next, I have no words for, but it still makes me tear up: landscapes far too beautiful to comprehend, the midnight sun providing an all-time endorphin high, tiny moments turning into core memories, and so many firsts. Even a year later, we haven’t fully processed what we experienced, and looking at pictures still makes us think: “What the hell did we actually see?!” 🤯
It’d be a lie to say everything went smoothly. But that’s what you sign up for when traveling. Looking back, everything that didn’t go well is now a story we laugh about. (Couples who travel are indestructible.) 👊🏻
Before we left, so many wished us “the adventure of a lifetime.” Hell no. This was a kick-off.
