A very happy 2026 to all my friends and family.
I’m feeling very optimistic about the New Year. 2025 was a complicated but fulfilling experience for us, all about making hard, necessary changes. I’m pleased to say we’ve come out of the year in a much better place than where we started.
I have three big hopes for the new year.
1. Billionaires start a pissing contest to see who can spend the most on building hospitals, libraries and affordable housing.
2. After the political and technological upheavals of the last two years, we have a year that’s, dare I say it, boring!
3. People move away from micro-trends and start focusing on personal individuality over TikTok-driven ‘moments’. Life is short, don’t make it all disposable.
However 2025 treated you, I hope as you step into 2026 you’re warm, safe, and with people you love. In the end, that’s all that really matters.
Big love, see you in 2026 xx
So, we’re in the taint of 2025 and @benjiness and I are enjoying the quiet life. I’ve made a nest with everything I need for the next few days, couldn’t be happier! No intention of moving from this spot for the foreseeable.
“On behalf of Emily and myself, we would like to thank our CDA friends for the nomination - coming from casting directors we admire so much, it really means a lot.
Big thanks to our brilliant producers at @mullenlowe_uk for trusting us time and time again.
Thank you to our research team - @bexbamm@wizardofolz@rubyefraser@hollycalcottski for absolutely busting their asses on this one. It was not easy!
But most of all, thank you to the amazing people in the campaign for letting us share their stories. It was a real privilege and we hope it helps inspire more people to choose care as a career.
Thank you!” -ZZK

The war with the squirrels 🐿️ has escalated. We have 8 tomato plants and they’ve decimated them. We haven’t had a single tomato make it out alive. They’re impervious to chilli and garlic spray, even vinegar. However, fruit wrapped in clingfilm seems to have pissed them off and now they have come into the kitchen and started stealing apples from our fruit bowl on the worktop. Im half expecting them to come through the window and attack us in our sleep for a packet of Haribo. What do I do? We have ultrasonic mouse deterants we could plug in but I’ve heard they don’t work on squirrels. 🐿️ 💣💣🔫
