🎻 Meet TüFolk Festival artistic mentor team✨ Excited to have Kristina as a guest mentor to support the melody section 🍀 Kristina (SE) is a Munich-based violinist with roots in classical music. After her formal training, she discovered her love for jazz, tango, and folk, and now moves freely between genres. A recording artist and performer, she appears in groups such as the folk/jazz quartet LYCKLIGA and the indie band OH THEIA. She also plays internationally with ensembles including the Italian folk band Bailenga and the Argentinian tango quartet Caminito. Her passion lies in breaking musical boundaries, blending traditions, and creating connections across styles.

Deep in the forests of Ariège, we worked on our interpretation of Trenzas... now, it has become one of our absolute favourite pieces of tango. We can't wait to play this in full quartet version with @nicolas_music_mur soon <3

🌻✨ We just finished our little tour in Germany and now spend some days in beautiful Genova to record new music - for example our rearrangement of “Le sei sorelle” (“The six sisters”) from the opera “La Gatta Cenerentola”, inspired by the original Cinderella story, which actually is from Naples!

this video was at the end of our concert with tangheri bohème. we invited everyone who wanted to join us up on stage for a last mazurka and... this happened. so so thankful for these last few magical days in vienna. somehow, they made me fall in love with music all over again.
