My last wedding for the 2025 wedding season was Saturday December 20, 2025 held @riverview_at_occoquan . The groom shared with his mom my love of traditional Jamaican rum cake also known as Jamaican Black Cake. It is a rich, dark, and dense fruit cake that is a staple for major celebrations like weddings. Thank you Z and thank your parents for me. 😘
Today I had the honor of officiating a wedding ceremony for a young couple at Daingerfield Island, Alexandria. I had the honor of celebrating the bride’s mother’s wedding several years ago. I’m grateful to be a part of this family. In fact, I’m a member of countless families who have invited me to stand with them on their wedding day! The first picture is of today’s couple, the bride’s mom and the bride’s bonus mom and me! I’m extremely grateful for these opportunities 😘
