I could not be more excited to have my dear friend, @juliazabo on the show with us today. Julia is a mother of two, the founder of @shopdanrie (the chicest online kids clothing boutique), and most importantly (well, at least to me ☺️)…..my very dear friend.
We get into everything from our marriages (which makes me laugh because our husbands are friends), to motherhood and juggling it all, to loosing both of her parents at an early age and how that’s shaped her, to the delusional optimism it took to start @shopdanrie and how imposter syndrome never really goes away.
This episode is for any woman creating something for herself, giving herself permission to start something new in midlife, and most importantly learning to believe in herself.

There was a time in my life when I was constantly trying to become a “better” version of myself…and it somehow only made me feel worse. I was more in my head. More critical of myself (and probably others, too). More disconnected from my body, my relationships, and, honestly, from myself.
What I didn’t realize then was that it wasn’t about becoming someone new.
It was about changing how I was living, thinking, and relating to myself. And over time, things started to shift.
Not overnight. But slowly, I became less reactive. More grounded. And more at peace in my own life.
In today’s episode, I’m sharing the habits that actually changed things for me. Not just the obvious ones like meditation, sleep, and sobriety…but the deeper shifts around emotional regulation, boundaries, comparison, and creating a life that feels aligned.
If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or like something needs to change… this one is for you.

Where do I even begin with this topic? This is something you’ve heard me talk about for years - the invisible mental load so many women (not just mothers) carry. It wasn’t until 5 or 6 years ago that I truly began to understand the full weight I’d been carrying - and started having conversations with JP about taking some of it off my shoulders. Those conversations- and that change in our home dynamic - has shifted not just our marriage and my experience as a mother - but more importantly, my every day life - how I see myself, how I live, and how I value my worth.
Which is why I’m so excited about this episode. Today on the show I’m talking with Paige Connell (from @sheisapaigeturner ) about the mental load women carry, how simply naming it is so often the first step and how we can help lighten the load.
This by no means is a one and done conversation- but rather an invitation to see motherhood differently, to create more balance and freedom in your life and to give yourself permission to set down some of this invisible weight we’re all carrying.
Understanding the mental load I carried alone for far too long, and learning ways to take some of it off my shoulders, has truly changed my life. And is something ALL women deserve to feel.

Such a beautiful conversation on the show this week with @cassidygard where we dive into her new memoir, Cosmic Goodness (arriving May 12th) and talk about all things intuition, finding your voice (and learning how to trust it), & actionable steps we can all be taking to find more Cosmic Goodness in our lives.
I’m a huge fan of @cassidygard - and if you don’t already follow/know her, you are in for a treat. She is a mother of two (who right now is living nomadically traveling through Europe with her family) a writer and a woman who truly embodies what it means to live a life of alignment and to believe in what’s possible. She oozes joy, playfulness and wisdom. I couldn’t more more excited for the release of her memoir next month and was so honored to have her on the show.

I came home from leading our retreat in Panama with so many lessons learned. One of which was just the simple reminder of why we do this work (whatever “this” is). We do this work (whether it’s yoga or meditation, journaling, therapy, whatever) because the greatest love we’re all still searching for….is our own ❤️
And yet, we look everywhere outside ourselves to try and find it. Some of us spending our entire lives searching. For these 22 women, and myself included, our week together in Panama helped us get one step closer ❤️
Today on the podcast I’m sharing all about the retreat. What it was like, what we did and most importantly- what we all walked away with. While we may not all be able to spend a week away on a black sandy beach in Panama meditating and practicing yoga - we can all find ways in our days to come home to ourselves, live with our hearts a little more open and find ways to offer ourselves our own loving kindness right in our own homes….

There are certain people you watch online, slowly and quietly making changes in their lives to create a life of alignment. Doing work behind the scenes that no one knows about - making hard decisions to create a world in which their outer world truly mirrors their inner. And for me, @jaceyduprie has been one of those people, which is why it was such an honor having her on the show. Our conversation today is a breath of fresh air, one of honest growth, a midlife awakening, and having faith in the unknown and in yourself.
Today, Jacey candidly opens up about walking away from her life partner, her business partner, how she still believes in love (and how great sex is a non-negotiable), how she views this middle season of life, and what’s next for her.
I admire so much of not just what Jacey has built for herself over the years, but more importantly, the way in which she does it.
Today’s episode is for any woman going through an awakening of any kind (personal or professional) and for anyone who bravely steps into the unknown, believes in themselves, and trusts their intuition to create a life more beautiful than they could have imagined.
Thank you to @jaceyduprie for sharing so openly. I’m so excited for all of you to listen. Comment “show,” and I’ll send the episode straight to your DMs. 🤍
Oh, this is a good one. Today on the podcast I’m joined by @erintreloar , a health and lifestyle coach and host of @wellwithin.pod - and we talk about everything from eating disorders, sobriety, meditation, changing directions in our careers and what it means to no longer negotiate with ourselves about what it is that we truly want. This episode is for any woman in midlife who’s ever gone through a transition - whether it’s with food/her body, alcohol, a relationship - and who’s been brave enough to say….”I want more”. This episode is for you.

Today’s solo is a little bit of everything. A much needed update on life - celebrating my birthday, taking my oldest to see colleges and what it stirred up in me, and just where I’m at lately. I also get into some common themes I see with the women I work with and how so much of it is a mirror for things I’m working on in my own life.
A much overdue heart to heart about all things life these days. Comment “show” and I’ll send a link to the full episode ❤️
I did not want to record this episode - but felt like we needed a family meeting. There’s a LOT going on in our world right now - and it’s affecting us all (whether we realize it or not).
Today on the show I’m getting into how we stay grounded and centered during these turbulent times, why the silence of others hurts (and why they often don’t speak up), how we process all of this, how joy is a form of resistance - and the answer to “what’s one person supposed to do?”.
I don’t have all the answers in this show, and it’s very much a raw and vulnerable conversation about how I’m processing all of this in real time - but I hope on some small way it helps you feel a little less alone right now.

We love to self sabotage. To play it safe. To convince ourselves of how things have to be “hard”, or why they won’t work out. And we don’t even realize we’re doing it. It’s so ingrained in us to stay “safe” and it holds us back from so much in our lives.
Today’s episode is all about the Upper Limit. How we all have them (whether we’re aware of them or not). And it affects everything from love, abundance, joy, success…..how much we feel safe holding. How comfortable we are with more love, more success, more visibility, more joy. We all have these upper limits that are hardwired in us from a very early age - to keep us “safe”, comfortable. But they’re actually just keeping us stuck.
We see if play out in so many area of our lives - and we don’t even realize we’re doing it. Today’s show is all about the upper limit, how I’ve started recognizing it in my own life, why they’re there and what we can do about it. Curious to see if it resonates with you…

The biggest shifts in my life happened when I started becoming more aware of my energy and my mindsets. How I maneuvered through my day. The way I spoke to people. The stories I told myself. How I played victim, was reactionary or simply stuck in old patterns. we ALL have our blind spots (myself included) and it’s up to us to start becoming more aware of all it - our energy, our mindsets, the stories we repeat in our minds day in and day out.
Because the truth is - the world needs you (probably more now than ever) to go out there and make ripple effects. To create a positive impact in the world - whether that’s in your home, in your school, in your community - and even the greater world at large. But we can’t do that - we can’t be the fullest, most expansive, versions of ourselves is we walk around on autopilot.
This week’s show is all about the mindsets I’m working on for this year and how I “try” to become more aware of all of this. And I say “try” because it’s a daily (if not moment by moment) practice.
Comment “show” and I’ll send the show do your DMs. Excited for you to listen ❤️
