What is a softbox?
If you’ve ever wondered why studio portraits look so clean and flattering, softboxes are usually part of the answer. It fits over a strobe or monolight and pushes the light through a diffusion panel, turning a harsh point source into something broad and wrap-around. Size matters: bigger softbox = softer light.
