In “The Mending Session” visitors are invited to engage together in an age-old, everyday craft: the mending, patching and repair of clothing. The session takes place in a relaxed atmosphere at Uferstudio 12 and provides the opportunity to repair or upcycle personal items of clothing that participants bring with them. Some materials will also be available on site. I haven't posted many of my finished quilts so I gradually want to do so. This one was about playing with half square triangles. Since I was working with older fabrics, I noticed some holes or weak patches as I was hand-quilting. So darning became part of the creation process and now sme of my favorite bits of this quilt.
