**There's a part of you that's been waiting.**
The part that used to laugh without checking who was watching. The part that knew how to be silly before life got serious. It's still in there.
**Glorious Misfits 2026 — the mountain edition.**
June 10–13.
residential,
at The Jamming Tree, Manali.
Four days in the hills, no agenda except this: come back to the part of you that plays. Slow down. Be present. Let something soft underneath the work-self come up for air.
It's a clown workshop, yes. It's also four days your nervous system will thank you for.
No experience needed. Just bring yourself. Limited spots.

Earlier this month I have attended most waited workshop about light with @gyandev in Chandigarh it is one of the great workshop I have attended. One of the key learning for me was to know where to not put the light and what stories a light can bring to life thank you for this workshop.

Where
Old tyres bloomed. 🌱
Old sarees protected from the sun. ☀️
Old newspapers turned into curtains. 📰
But the most beautiful transformation?
Fear turned into trust.
Rushing turned into patience.
Confusion turned into focus.
And learning turned into joy. ✨💛💙

I spent two beautiful weeks at the Kochi-Muziris Biennale — and honestly, that’s the only way to do it. With 22 venues and 66 artists from over 25 countries, it isn’t something you rush. This year’s edition, For the Time Being, flowed through ideas of time, memory, and presence — not as fixed things, but as something felt and lived. It unfolded gently through art, film, performance, sound, and conversation. Quiet hours with installations, long café chats, good coffee, scrumptious food, and the most wonderfully unexpected people… ahhhh. Already counting the days to 2028. ✨
How Are Folk Instruments Adapting to Our Times?
Looking back at this beautiful workshop from October 6th as part of @jodhpurartsweek
It was intriguing to see participants responses as they moved beyond just hearing these instruments from a distance. For many, this was a rare opportunity to actually touch, feel, and learn to play instruments steeped in centuries of tradition. The resonance of these folk instruments, their material history, the stories they carry — everyone got completely lost in it.
Guided by incredible artists including @mamtaa.sapera (on Khartal, Morchang & Bhapang), Papu Ram Bhopa (on Ravanhatta), Hussain Khan Langa @hussainkhanlanga077 (on Sarangi) and Puran Nath Ji (on Been), participants discovered the craftsmanship and deep connection these instruments have with nature and ecology.
The hands-on segment guided by @wishallsing brought back our material memory — our hands remember Reimagining traditional instruments using recycled urban waste and natural materials, then jamming together alongside our folk artists. There's something profound about creating your own instrument and connecting with something that holds so much cultural memory.
Grateful to @publicartstrustofindia team, @jaipurvirasat and every participant who dove into this experience.
