So what’s the connection between Wise Owl Films and this thumping dance track from singer Phoebe Emmerson (with a five star rave review in @nevolumemagazine )? Well, her new single You & Me has been written by none other than our former Creative Director Mark Robinson. It started off as something Mark wrote purely to give to his wife Karen on the 30th anniversary of their first date - but the track was picked up by Darlington-based Circulation Recordings and it’s released today on Apple, Spotify etc.
We may be biased in the office but we think it’s got the makings of a Summer 26 Ibiza anthem!
This week, our researcher Ella represented Wise Owl at Ahead Partnership interview practice events across local schools. She helped give students the valuable opportunity to practice a face to face interview with an employer for the very first time, preparing them for their future careers! 📚
The environmental impact of TV production is something we are all working hard to address.
This week, our team stepped away from the screen and planted bushes (all 1550 of them!) to support local flood alleviation efforts.

The renovation of Anty Johns is a huge undertaking and seeing the professional trades at work has been enlightening 🙄 ( too many puns ).
The level of skill and understanding it takes in the trades is often overlooked so we have a newfound appreciation of what it takes to be a professional plumber, electrician, builder, joiner, carpenter, plasterer.
Our lal’ efforts are nowt in comparison , we know our limitations but who knows when that spark ⚡️ 🙄 of enthusiasm might be the start of a new vocation for one of the children, 🤷♀️ 🤔
Anyway….watch tomorrow night. 📺
