Wise Jiu Jitsu is proud to have two students who also run their own Taekwondo Academies. Jared Trog and David Petti have been friends and training partners since 2008. In 2022, both decided they wanted to venture out and try a different martial art, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Without knowing the other was planning to do the same, they each enrolled at Wise Jiu Jitsu and ended up back on the mats together!
Jared is the owner of Summit Martial Arts Taekwondo and holds the rank of 5th Dan Black Belt in Taekwondo. Alongside his Taekwondo background, he currently trains in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu at Wise Jiu Jitsu and holds the rank of Purple Belt.
David is the owner of Ennis Black Belt Academy and is a 4th Dan Black Belt in Taekwondo. He also trains in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu with us and holds the rank of 1st degree Blue Belt.
We’re grateful to have both of them on the mats with us and appreciate the dedication they bring to training. If you’re in the Waxahachie or Ennis area and interested in Taekwondo, we encourage you to check out their academies as well.
