We are living through a technological transformation redefining what it means to be human.
Artificial intelligence is reshaping the foundations of society. Trust, belonging, democracy, work and the systems that sustain life.
Its promise is extraordinary. Its risks are profound.
The 2026 Wisdom & Action Forum: Trust in the Age of AI will gather 300 leaders from business, government, academia, technology, and the arts to explore the question at the centre of this moment:
How do we remain human, and build trust, in an age shaped by AI?
Together, we will examine the dynamics transforming our world: artificial intimacy and identity, AI’s ecological footprint, the future of work, democratic resilience in an era of misinformation and how AI-infused systems influence human agency.
This Forum is not about the mechanics of technology.
It is about what this transformation means for humanity. For our relationships, our institutions, our sense of meaning and our shared future.
It embraces complexity, resists simple binaries and invites the richness of diverse perspectives from science to philosophy, art to AI, spirituality to systems thinking.
To guide us through this exploration, we’re thrilled to convene an extraordinary lineup of inspiring minds. Our first speaker announcement includes: Krista Tippett, Cameron Adams, A.C Grayling, Julie Inman Grant, Toby Walsh, Svetha Venkatesh, Indy Johar, Lucy Thomas and Matt Kuperholz.

We are still carrying the learnings, conversations, wisdom and hope that we got from the Wisdom & Action Forum last week.
On the final day, we asked participants what resonated with them after this experience. This is what they shared.
And we would like to extend this question to you, how are you feeling about AI right now?

This week we’ve been at the @abbotsfordconvent pouring coffee for the @wisdomandaction forum by @smallgiants .
It’s been a week fuelled by good coffee, big conversations, and extraordinary people.
Radical Trust in Action: Audrey Tang in conversation with Toby Walsh.
As we begin day 3 here’s our highlights from the first incredible session @smallgiants Wisdom & Action Forum 2026: Trust in the Age of AI.
How timely that we ask “How do we live, lead, and build trust in an age of accelerating technology, fractured systems, and shifting truths?”
Fancy Films are proud to sponsor this event. Thank you Small Giants for the rich conversations you bring. @wisdomandaction
After 10 months of planning, we are thrilled to be gathering next week at the Wisdom and Action Forum 2026: Trust in the Age of AI.

“Clarity creates agency.”
Tristan Harris has been one of the leading voices helping us understand what’s at stake in this technological moment, a tireless advocate calling for greater responsibility in the development of AI.
As co-founder of the Center for Humane Technology, his work has brought attention to how the systems shaping our lives influence not just what we see, but how we think, relate, and make sense of the world.
From The Social Dilemma to Your Undivided Attention, Tristan has helped shift the global conversation, from what technology can do to what it is doing to us.
We’re thrilled to have Tristan opening Day Two of the Wisdom & Action Forum, joining us virtually in conversation with Krista Tippett.
We’ll also be screening The AI Doc: Or How I Became an Apocaloptimist, in which Tristan features, a powerful companion to these conversations.
If you’re after a glimpse into the depth of thinking he brings, we loved this conversation between Tristan and Nate Hagens (see link in bio).

There are two stories being told about AI right now.
One is a story of doom. Of billionaires racing toward a future none of us voted for. Of algorithms eroding trust. Of creativity made redundant. Of what makes us human slowly being swallowed whole.
The other story asks more of us. It's not naivety. It's not denial. But an intention to show up and get clear and focused about what we actually long for. What are we trying to protect, create, and pass on?
We talk endlessly about generative AI but we forget about our own generativity. Our own aliveness. The beauty we are capable of making when we show up fully, with love and intention.
These are the questions at the heart of the Wisdom & Action Forum: Trust in the Age of AI (May 5–7, Melbourne).
Not a conference of observers. A gathering of people willing to sit with the hard questions and feed the future with something worth having.

Can we trust the systems shaping our lives?
In this episode, Berry Liberman sits down with Frances Haugen, the Facebook whistleblower who testified before the U.S. Congress, the U.K. and E.U. Parliaments, and other global bodies, challenging Big Tech's lack of accountability and making the case that technology can and must serve the common good.
Frances knows the inner workings of these systems better than almost anyone. And yet what strikes you in this conversation is not her technical fluency. It is her humanity.
Together, Berry and Frances explore the moral and civic frontiers of our digital age: how the algorithms that govern our lives shape democracy, erode trust, and quietly redefine what it means to connect with one another.
This episode was recorded in the lead up to our Forum: Trust in the Age of AI, taking place in Melbourne from 5 to 7 May. If these questions matter to you, we would love to have you in the room.

We have long turned to philosophers to help us make sense of the world and our place within it.
Professor A.C. Grayling has spent decades bringing philosophical inquiry into public life. Known for his lifelong defence of reason, liberty and humanistic values, he is the founder of the New College of the Humanities in London and the author of more than thirty books, from The Meaning of Things to The Age of Genius.
We’re thrilled to welcome Professor Grayling to the Wisdom & Action Forum 2026.
Across his keynote and sessions, he’ll explore trust in the age of AI through the lenses of epistemology, democracy and consciousness.

We love revisiting the wise words of Daniel Schmachtenberger in the Wisdom & Action podcast conversation with Berry Liberman from 2022.
For Daniel, much of what is meaningful in life stems from three simple orientations: doing, being, and becoming.
Through these, each of us can contribute to the beauty of existence - in our own lives, in the lives of others, and in the world around us.
An expansive conversation across two parts, and its insights still resonate today.
We’ll share the conversation link in the comment section.
An evening with Krista Tippett.
As founder of @onbeing , her work has become a touchstone for depth, moral imagination and sensemaking.
In conversation with Berry Liberman, she’ll reflect on a life spent in dialogue with thinkers exploring the deepest questions of our lives - across spirituality, science and social healing.
In a tender, tumultuous world, how do we orient toward what is life-giving?
If you’re longing for an evening of wisdom and nourishment, we’d love you to join us.

Cameron Adams has helped transform how the world creates, enabling millions to bring their ideas to life and making design accessible on a global scale.
As Co-founder and Chief Product Officer of @canva , he has built a platform that proves technology can democratise creativity without diminishing it.
We’re excited to welcome Cameron Adams to the Wisdom & Action Forum 2026: Trust in the Age of AI, where he’ll explore how we harness technology to expand creativity, belonging and human connection, with discernment and responsibility.
Cameron will join Berry Liberman and Ben Shewry to discuss 'The Creative Frontier: Human Imagination in the Age of AI'.
We love Cameron’s nuanced approach to artificial intelligence. In Prompted, his podcast exploring creativity in the AI era, he speaks with leaders from OpenAI, Anthropic, Box and beyond. The series challenges doom-and-gloom narratives, creating space for a more honest and considered conversation.
This is also our hope for the Forum - a space for robust discussion, in service of life. We’d love for you to be part of it.
