Incredibly thankful to have been recognized and awarded by @iphotoawards I remember when I was 16, taking “high fashion” selfies in my bedroom, wanting to be as dope a creative as the folks @antmvh1 - my biggest show inspiration. Every episode that played became a crash course for me to create my own studio sessions with bed sheets, magazine tears, and Macy’s cologne set duffel bags. I didn’t know all of what I tried and explored would propel me this far. I’m just beyond grateful. I also want to thank all of the amazing people featured in these images. Individually they have made my journey worth the long hours and dedication. - the first layout is not reflective of the IPA committee and its team. The copy (from their website) and assets were explored online to be to displayed here.

Super excited to be a published author and have my work grace the front cover of @thamesandhudson Class of 2024. I want to extend my gratitude to the Thames & Hudson team, Michael O’Brien, the supports @scaddotedu , @tylerbasa , the designer for the book and Jermaine Francis, my interviewer. It’s been an amazing two year process alongside some of the most creative people I’ve ever met and will continue to be inspired by. ❤️

Mood for today is brought to you by ….. Wisdom Warner | @Wisdom.tiff Photography, 2024 27x39 Leg Day with Antonio Michelle This piece speaks to proof of life through connecting things that don’t always make sense at first, but still create a sense of inspiration. Materials like plastic bags, often seen as waste, are placed alongside a machine that feels unnecessary, yet familiar. The hair moves but feels still. The body shows effort. For me, it’s not just the image that represents proof of life, but the act of bringing these elements together. Blending unconventional materials with everyday actions creates a space where life feels less routine and more intentional. Even if it looks strange or unexpected, it reflects the decision to keep going and find meaning anyway. It becomes about giving new life to what might be overlooked. Taking what feels like waste, repetition, or excess, and shaping it into something that still holds energy, presence, and truth. Proof of Life , A phototherapy only exhibition, co-curated by @iambritsade On display through June 6th ‼️ Artworks available for purchase on gallery site (link in bio) #cbrooksgallery

The black art series is BACK 💥🚦 and we’re opening with Wisdom Warner: @wisdom.tiff Wisdom Warner works at the intersection of fashion, commercial photography, and fine art. His practice is built on a single belief — drawn from John 10:34, which his grandfather passed to him: “We are gods”. Every image he creates is designed to be felt before it’s understood. He works between concept and camera — building visual systems that are commercially grounded and emotionally unmistakable. Check out his work and stay tuned for our next artist spotlight! 🚦#sendyoureta #blackart #blackartists

Zara Women’s leather jacket - 02949224800042 Texture + movement + composition Graphic play on identity Photographed & led by @wisdom.tiff Captured with @captureone I saw this jacket when I was @zara in SoHo. It was the last one left as I brushed past it. At first I thought “do I really need to get this?” The obvious answer was no, but Amex will figure it out. When I tried it on, I immediately felt its comfort. Not the material, but the shape. It was like grabbing the last piece of strawberry candy from your grandmas purse during Sunday services. I couldn’t resist it. I kept it on, took off the tag and gave it to the cashier. “I’m just going to wear this out.” I told her. Once I opened the front door with that iconic shopping bag in my hand, I felt a breeze. Not exactly from the wind, but from my spirit. It’s as if getting this piece was symbolic of something more than just another purchase. It felt like something would come from that moment. Funny enough, here we are. I wanted to bring this into a studio, play with its movement, highlight its texture, and play with that ethereal feeling that I felt with the highlights bouncing on the collar and the closure. I wanted the jacket’s identity to feel apart of the composition, as if its interior somehow came to life in a bold, but personal way 🟧.
