In a recent capital project, Tanger Outlets of Deer Park decided to upgrade their outdoor common area sound systems to a full custom built Q-Sys system. At the heart of the design, a Core-110f provides not only the backbone for the outdoor music, but can provide the opportunity for video and control in the future.
Multiple CX-Q2K4 amplifiers power 16 total zones of audio, each with the own dedicated control via a Q-Sys TSC User Control Interface. Managers can also access the UCI from their mobile devices.
Outdoor speakers were replaced with products from both JBL Professional and Q-Sys. In-ground "mushroom" style speakers for the planters and gardens, and Q-Sys AcousticDesign Surface Mount Loudspeakers for on-wall locations.

WiredUP has completed its first JBL VTX Series installation, bringing professional concert-grade audio to the auditorium at the Locust Valley High/Middle School as part of a full sound system upgrade for the Locust Valley Central School District.
Selected through a competitive bid process and supported directly by JBL, WiredUP designed and deployed a system centered around 8 VTX A6 line array elements and 2 VTX B15 subwoofers, powered by a Crown IT4x3500HD amplifier. The arrays are flown above the auditorium, meaning it’s clean, purposeful, and built to fill every seat evenly.

WiredUP recently refreshed the sound systems across four Pure Barre locations on the East Coast! Each system features a Shure SLXD+ wireless system with a backup body pack and rechargeable docking station, a Crown XLS2002 amplifier, and four JBL Control 25-1L loudspeakers. Existing mixers were integrated into the updated systems, keeping costs low and saving the client money! 💰
Pure Barre classes demand a sound system that can keep up, where volume and clarity are equally important, every single class.
At idle, each system draws less than 15W of power, reflecting WiredUP’s ongoing commitment to a more sustainable future. 🌳

WiredUP is proud to be the official AV rental supplier for the Bay Shore School District, where future Broadway stars take the stage for three productions a year.
Our relationship with the school district has brought over 30 productions to ‘light’ with the help of WiredUP’s technical expertise. For this year’s spring musical, we helped make ‘Into The Woods’ an immersive experience for 3 sold-out nights.
‘Into The Woods’ presented a slew of challenges for both our Audio and Lighting Design teams, due to the on-stage full-student staffed pit orchestra, with over 25 instruments needing to routed through the sound system - a first for this theatre. Our Audio team deployed a Dante-based sound system to route audio easily into and out of the orchestra on-stage.
Our lighting team utilized a mix of LED and Halogen fixtures, and a mix of both moving lights and static lights to create an immersive lighting experience, making the audience feel like they were part of the show.
Congratulations to the team and all of the production staff and students for another great show on the iconic Bay Shore Schools stage.

This past summer, WiredUP, in association with @joeystylesdj and @rcanoevents helped make New York-Presbyterian Hospital staff feel appreciated at 13 Employee Appreciation Day events throughout New York State. With over 40,000 total attendees, WiredUP deployed distributed sound systems at each event, providing clarity, energy and good vibes for everyone in attendance.
