It was a banner year for WIRED Tour Booking, our biggest and best to date! We facilitated over 600 shows and January will mark our 7th year on the job. We’re continually honored and humbled that we get to represent the best bands, comedians, and podcasts, and people in the game who continue to put their faith in us year after year. It will never be lost on us how fortunate we are!
Thanks to the patrons, promoters, the other agents, the bartenders, the road crews, the record labels, the tee shirts makers, the merch slingers, the door folks, the festival putter onners, and anyone / everyone who has a hand in keeping this whole thing going, we love you all. @wiredtourbooking welcomes @thebandknapsack to our roster! I think saying some shit like, “if you know you know” sucks, but this is an instance where if I sucked I would likely say that. What I’ll say instead, is that KNAPSACK is a band that formed in 1993 in the Bay Area of California, was and continues to be wildly influential, yet still tends to fly a bit under the radar. If you like bands like Superchunk, Jawbreaker, and Guided By Voices, think along those lines but with a hint of traditional early 90’s “emo”. Give their 1998 album “This Conversation Is Ending Starting Right Now” a listen and you’ll get it, and if you already know, than great, now we are all on the same page.
