I had the privilege of participating in a vibrant event at the local Community Mental Health Service Centre in Qatar, where I shared insights on the incredible benefits of music in our lives and its transformative role in clinical care. It was also a wonderful opportunity to meet talented local artists and dedicated volunteers who contribute so much to the community through their creativity and care. A heartfelt thank you to @maram636 for organizing such a valuable and inspiring event!

Did you know early music exposure boosts brain power? It’s amazing for language, memory, and focus! When kids learn rhythm and melody, they’re also building patience, concentration, and problem-solving skills. Music unlocks so much creativity! Your child can express themselves with every note they play. Group music classes? They’re fantastic for building teamwork, confidence, and friendships. And when kids perform, it helps them develop resilience and courage—they shine on and off the stage Starting music young can spark a lifelong love for it, and help them grow in so many ways! I’d love to get your child started! I offer piano lessons, group classes, and school performances—send me a message to learn more!

When is the Best Time to Start Learning an Instrument? 🎶 - Ideal Starting Age: 3-5 years old according to the method developed by Shinichi Suzuki commonly known as the mother tongue method. 🌱 - Children are naturally curious and open to new experiences. Therefore, if you want to develop your child's natural inclination to music IMERGE your child in music and make music part of its environment. - Early exposure enhances pitch, rhythm, and melody recognition. - Parental Involvement: Key to Success 👨‍👩‍👧 Once you decide and choose an instrument for your child to learn to play, be an active participant in the learning process. Attend the lessons and make practice a routine at home. - Create a musical environment at home. - Listen to music together to build familiarity and excitement. - Readiness Over Age: Look for Signs of Interest 🎻 - Shows curiosity in musical toys or instruments. - Follows simple instructions and has basic motor control. - Life Skills Developed: More Than Just Music 🎯 - Builds discipline, patience, focus, and self-confidence. - Group lessons teach respect, teamwork, and cooperation. - For Older Learners: It’s Never Too Late! 🎸 - Older students bring focus, discipline, and motivation. - A good teacher and professional will support beginners at any age. 🎵 Music is for everyone, any time! Start early if possible but remember—any time is the right time to learn.
