Yesterday at Collaborative, we saw firsthand why Gen Z is more generous than you think ✨
After launching our new report with @givingtuesday , we took the learnings to the stage for our joint panel Inside the mind of the next-gen donor.
Hearing directly from Gen Z philanthropists Jahkil Jackson, Ashley Nevison, and Winter BreeAnne Minisee confirmed that this generation isn’t waiting to give. They’re already showing up, and driving an outsized impact.
A key theme rang true: Gen Z is not only giving but they want to participate as much as possible in their generosity.
If you were in the room, you walked away ready to act.
If you weren’t, the report is your starting point. Dive in at the link in our bio.
things I did while offline:
1. Graduated from Howard University #econbaddie 🎓

This past December I graduated and in May ‘25 I was able to walk the stage in front of my now-fiance, brother, parents, and friends. I flew straight to Alabama to see my sister graduate from Oakwood University. 4th generation in my family to do so. The journey wasn’t easy… but I’m grateful. God get’s all the glory. 🤍

birthdays are for reflection. these were some of the first photos I took at twenty-3. the journey was potent.
✨grateful to see twenty-4✨
swipe for some lessons learned.
I am just coming to terms with how impactful this shoot was for me spiritually. while I was a muse to tell @cherissmay ’s story of becoming, this shoot also prophetically spoke over my own life.
I embodied Cheriss’ younger self, who was in the process of discovering herself, intimately. that is exactly where I am right now. in deep reflection, quieting the noise, pruning my soul, preparing to bud. 🌱
Cheriss May SOUL REFLECTION will be showing at @leicastoredc until feb ‘25.
There are a few more tickets to the opening event tonight. Link in bio. ✨
thank you Cheriss for having me, and all those involved.🤍
Today is National Voter Registration Day! I’m so honored that this art of moi by @obeygiant has been able to transcend several election cycles. The message is the same… We The Future, Power to the Polls. @wethefutureus (in collaboration with @levis@livenation and others) is doing some amazing work on community college campuses across the country. As always my family at @votesaveamerica have some of the best resources in the game to help prepare you for the moment you step into the ballot box, or open up that mail in ballot. 🤍🗳️
I will be hosting a few #votewithWinter sessions with college students in Alabama to help prepare us all to participate in November. 📝📝
See ya at the polls!
#nationalvoterregistrationday
as it is in heaven, so it be with me.🤲🏾🪐

i have been pondering a lot recently on life and its musings. on suffering. on liberation. on justice. on hope. on imagination. on purpose.
preparing for post-grad, the looming election, and the next season of my life has been intense, to say the least, but i have been holding on to a sacred truth that present suffering doesn’t compare to the glory to be revealed.
also, i think i may start writing and sharing my musings online. substack? devotionals? who knows?
