There comes a moment when survival is no longer enough. When you realize you don’t just want to get through it; you want to heal, rebuild, and become. Rooted & Renewal: Healing and Becoming was created for that moment. 🌸📚✨💜☕️ For the woman who is: learning to choose herself unlearning what no longer serves her and finding the courage to begin again Inspired by It Ends with Us, this is more than a conversation; it’s a space to reflect, release, and reconnect with who you’re becoming. Join us on May 16 at @cafeconlibros_bk for an intimate evening rooted in community, honesty, and growth. If you’ve been carrying it alone… you don’t have to anymore. Spots are limited. RSVP via link in bio ✨ #HealingInCommunity #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth #BrooklynEvents #nyccommunity #traumahealing

Before Wings of Violet Project existed, there was a story rooted in survival. My name is Madelyn Torres, founder of @wingsofvioletproject . It’s time to start getting honest and share my story. I’ll continue amplifying not only my voice but the ones in our community in the months to come. I experienced domestic violence in ways that impacted every aspect of my life. What once felt isolating became the reason this community was created. Wings of Violet Project exists to hold space for women navigating healing, rebuilding, and becoming. On their own terms and pace. This is a space for: -honesty -growth -community -empowerment If you’ve ever felt like you had to go through it alone; you don’t anymore. You belong here. Join us today. 💜 #WingsOfViolet #HealingInCommunity #BreakingCycles #SurvivorSupport #WomenEmpowerment

Our take on this trend except these the are real life fears for so many survivors. Loss of control Isolation from our loved ones Psychology manipulation The trail of trauma is long and arduous. Today we encourage you to take someone’s story seriously. To listen without judgement and hold space. #trending #trendingsong #fyp #domesticviolence #domesticviolenceawareness

Rewriting your money story: from survival to stability 💰💜✨ One of our community members shot this beautiful recap on the other app but how could we not share it here?! A beautiful day of intention, sisterhood, and community. Our program began with a powerful panel conversation around how our families and culture shaped our relationship with money, financial abuse, and the stigmas we suffer from silently. We then had three incredible informational and hands on workshop segments led by three financial experts. @howdebbiesaves shared her resilience as a survivor, how she rebuilt her relationship with money and paid off thousands of dollars of credit card. She reinforced how important it is to reframe our money mindset. A complete powerhouse and great example to all trauma survivors. @ocsant_ is a self taught lover of all things budget management, tracking, and spending. Way beyond her years she’s already implemented a foul proof system. She broke down how every step from daily, weekly, to monthly. Most importantly, she shared the importance of starting small and acknowledging that we are all learning as we go. It’s not about perfection, it’s about the simple steps in our everyday routines. Last but certainly not least @lisaretcampusano closed us off. Lisaret has over 8 years of experience helping women and men reclaim their financial independence and voices as a wealth strategist. She taught us that building a ‘strong foundation’ does not need to be scary or overwhelming. From humble beginnings in the Bronx to bougie on a budget. Our first virtual event was a complete success and we can’t wait for the next workshop. Let us know what topic we should do next in the comments. #finanicalliteracy #domesticviolenceawareness #nycevent #nyccommunity #virtualevent

A powerhouse in her own right @howdebbiesaves has over six years of helping women gain financial confidence and freedom. She empowers women and female entrepreneurs to break through limiting beliefs. ✨ Debbie will be joining our incredible team of financial experts on Saturday 4/25. She will be showing you how to create a budget, establish a healthy money mindset, and combat credit card debt in real time. As a survivor herself, she understands the importance of financial independence and security. This work is personal to her and we are honored to align our missions. If you’re feeling financially frustrated, stuck or simply need to start from scratch after trauma then this event is for you. Sign up via the link in bio. This event is free and open to all; in celebration of Financial Literacy Month. 💟 #nycevent #nycevents #financialliteracymonth #finanicalliteracy #domesticviolenceadvocate

What if… What if you never feel financially stable? What if you’re always behind? What if the way you were taught about money is holding you back? What if you have to start over? What if you’re doing this alone? These are the questions so many women carry quietly. Shaped by culture. By survival. By what we were taught… and what we were never taught. But what if those questions aren’t the end of your story? ✨ What if you could learn differently? ✨ What if you could unlearn what no longer serves you? ✨ What if you could rebuild with support, clarity, and intention? Join us for Rewriting Your Money Story: a financial literacy experience centered on real conversations about money, culture, healing, and financial independence. Through a live panel and expert-led breakout sessions, we’re creating space to explore the deeper layers of money and give you tools to move forward with confidence. 🗓 Saturday, April 25th ⏰ 10:00 AM – 1:00 P.M. 💻 Virtual Your story with money isn’t over. It’s ready to be rewritten. 🔗 Register now (link in bio) partiful.com/e/8gDF4BBQTK4UgrJ1plJB?c=xLruVNfE #finanicalliteracy #financialfreedom #nycevent #nyccommunity #domesticviolenceawareness
