Over the past few months, we’ve had the privilege of sitting with incredible women who generously and courageously shared their postnatal journeys on camera.
Thank you to every woman who trusted us with her experience. Your honesty, vulnerability and strength are what make this film so important.
With 1 in 3 women experiencing lasting health problems after childbirth, these conversations matter, and we can’t wait to shape this footage into a film that helps mothers feel seen, heard, and most importantly, not alone.
We’ll be sharing more updates soon as After Birth comes to life in the edit suite.

Set in a 2,000-year-old Roman amphitheater before a crowd of 4,000, it felt like a fitting end to the journey. The speakers, shaped by experiences in a region often defined by others, offered grounded, powerful perspectives, from turning personal loss into motivation to changing how mental health is discussed in the Arab world. A strong final reminder that meaningful ideas can come from anywhere 👏
