Hatoon takes the injazz stage at ESNS on January 16th at 5.30pm.
An artist with a voice that stays with you, Hatoon blends future-soul with dreamy Sudanese folk, shaping a sound that feels both intimate and expansive. Deeply rooted in Nubian-Sudanese traditions and inspired by artists like Nai Palm, Solange, and Erykah Badu, her music carries afrofuturistic stories drawn from her experience growing up as a refugee — layered, vulnerable, and powerful.
After standout shows at Super-Sonic Jazz, North Sea Jazz, Motel Mozaic, and Nomansland, anticipation is building around her debut EP, set for release in 2026.
