Our graduation celebration/ goodbye party started on the beach and ended in a beach bar. Sorry I didn’t get more photos of all the fabulous people that joined us, but luckily @jonatan.quiromassatgista is brilliant and got this one at the end for us! We are so lucky to have met such wonderful people here in Sitges 😘
And just like that, it was time to send @jesse_wineguy_padberg back to New Mexico. It’s incredibly hard to let him go. Thank you to all the friends that joined us for a goodbye drink on the beach, it made it really special. Sitges put on quite a send off with a rainbow and epic sunset.
CONGRATULATIONS to @denalidae for graduating with her Film Certificate from UNM Taos today! Truly remarkable considering she had to take a semester off last year and then moved to Spain. We are so so proud of you darlin!
Having the most lovely day celebrating the gift of being @denalidae ‘s mom. Wine tasting at our favorite wine shop, strolling the streets of our beautiful town, tapas at our neighborhood restaurant and siesta with the windows open letting the gentle ocean breeze in. I am the so beyond grateful for this wildly crazy, intense, fantastic life.

Castellers performance in BCN today! Had to be inside due to the rain. @jovedesitges is such an incredible group of people and we are loving being a part of their family. This sport takes great skill and strength and they show so much integrity and character as teams help other teams literally being a step ladder for each other. Jess has become more and more a key player as his position has moved in to stabilize as a base. Also, kinda awesome our color is wine red. 🥰👏🥂
Dinner, drinks and luckily no videos of Karaoke, with our fabulous Sitges and UK friends. Dinner at Gardens in Retiro was absolutely fantastic! The best patatas bravas I’ve ever had, a fish lettuce wrap (I swear it was outstanding and impossible to describe in a way you’d believe me), and … pulpo. I’ve sworn off pulpo for years, even knowing it is a Sitges specialty, until last night and I have to say it was incredible. If in Sitges, go eat at Gardens in Retiro. Such a fun night!
OK now I know yall really want the food porn photos from the Roussillon trip so here ya go! Restaurant le Vienne night one, focused on simple yet flavorful dishes. Night two was at La Table a’ Aimé where the highlight was the creamy lemon sauce they used over white asparagus and then again over the fish. Beautiful execution and delicious. Our final dinner was at a Tapas place that did a great job combining Spanish and French specialties. Then of course there are a few photos of me showing what a terrible time I was having 🤣, a couple of our brilliant guide Eric, and then one of the group of us (mostly from the UK, there was also USA, France & Denmark). If you are looking for a new place to visit, go to Roussillon! Charming towns full of wild history, excellent wines and fabulous food.
