🎥 Introducing “The Escape” ✨
Part of this year’s Windrush Caribbean Film Festival at Arnolfini, The Escape is a tribute to the memory of Bunny Neill - a Jamaican escapologist, magician and the first Black member of the Inner Magic Circle. Written and co-produced and directed by his daughter, Jessica Olivia Neill, a poet, writer and creative producer/ director based in Bristol, the film is - in part - the reenactment of a daring escape performed by Bunny on the island of Jersey in 1967.
🎬 The Escape is just one highlight in a day packed with bold films, radical art and intergenerational conversation. Don’t miss it.
