10 years ago on january 8, 2016 (or what feels like lifetimes ago) I released WELL KEPT ERA, my fourth album as window magic. happy birthday to what was a quite an important turning point for this project: I started playing completely improvised live shows regularly, refining tape manipulation techniques, incorporating my voice as wordless textures and also not too long after this release I started having all night 6-8 hour dj sets at @keithbarberlin that during the pandemic morphed into a radio show. the tape release was carrying 5 pieces of live improvisations with tapeloops and synths, there is also an accompanying EP I put out called WELL KEPT ERRORS with outtakes and first-take-versions of the pieces. eternally thankful to everyone who gave a listen to this one 🙏 slide 3 photo by @annebonkowski at @spud_bencer_berlin slide 5 photo by @msaudioproduction at @keithbarberlin #music #windowmagic #wellkeptera #ambientmusic #tape
