Hello! A quick announcement for today: After some discussion with our friends at @recomposestudio we have decided to extend the exhibition for another day. So today we will be at Recompose near Letna until 19:00. Stop by and see us and have a look at the works by these talented artists. Around 17:00 until closing we will have a nice gathering with drinks and conversation to close out the exhibition. It’s truly been a privilege putting this together and getting to see and speak to so many of you. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or need directions. Thanks so much!

This Saturday the Prague chapter of the "Home" Exhibition made in cooperation with @bounsergi will take place at @grid.center and will begin with an art walk. Beginning in historic Wenceslas Square, various works that will also be a part of the exhibition will be carried by participants from the square to Grid. All are welcome to participate and encouraged to dress expressively as they desire. We will begin at 17:00 and conclude the walk when we reach Grid, where the rest of the exhibition will take place. Looking forward to seeing everyone.

This week: The Prague Chapter of "HOME." Hosted by WFTE in cooperation with @bounsergi the multidisciplinary exhibition will be hosted at @grid.center and @recomposestudio and will present art from creators of varying international backgrounds.
We are hoping to transform and redefine these spaces you might have seen before in an effort to reflect the purpose of the exhibition.
In keeping with our theme of the home and community, the space will also transform throughout the weekend, acknowledging not only the need to gather for conversations, but to move freely together.

Here are some of the artworks that have been submitted and shown in the earlier BOUN Art Collective exhibitions. We wanted to show you the diversity in the mediums and disciplines, and hopefully stimulate your brain and your art.
The artworks are mostly centred around the resistance of the students of Bogazici, while also being about other topics such as women's rights in Turkey, and about individual topics at times.

Greetings, friends. We would like to reach out with an update. Our film is currently in the post-production stage here in Prague and coming along, and we will be sharing more content and news regarding it in the coming weeks. Today, we want to reach out to share an exciting development with you.
In cooperation with our friends and colleagues at BOUN art collective, we are organizing the Prague chapter of the art exhibition, “Home.” “Home” is about solidarity in reclaiming the earth as our collective home and relating to each other in the face of the forces that threaten it. The exhibition addresses the need for art as expression in a world where a growing number of us, owing to cultural, political, and climatic developments, find ourselves displaced and unwelcome in the places we grew up calling home. Aiming to bring together a variety of voices and perspectives, the exhibition welcomes artists from all disciplines, backgrounds, and nationalities and is taking place across multiple cities. The date has not been finalized, but all of the pieces are coming into place.
While the event will be hosted at a venue tba, part of the exhibition will involve a mobile component: a walk containing various pieces, so as not to confine our voices to any singular location. Through panel discussions regarding how we experience home and the space around us, we aim to create a communal experience, expanding on our understanding of the body, the identity, the family, local and global society, and a diverse understanding of the human experience.
Through personal and public expression, we seek to reclaim the earth and our bodies, turning back inwards and away from the polarization and abstract authority that hinders us in remembering what it means to be human.
